Get to Know OfficePlace: Meeting Rooms
While the pace of many businesses has slowed over the past year due to the pandemic, the need for online meetings has exploded
Zoom has now become a household name. And you really know when a word has become popular when it takes the form of a verb. Let’s Zoom!
OfficePlace has been quick to adapt to the changing needs of meeting space during the pandemic. Scheduling and hosting a “meeting mix” is the perfect solution, combining Zoomers with a safe in-person group.
Our inventory of eight meeting rooms has been set up with professional-grade microphones, enhanced large room audio technology and feature 65” and 75” monitors.
With the free use of the OfficePlace professional zoom account, there are no time restrictions.
OfficePlace now features modified table and chair meeting room layouts to create Safe Meeting Rooms.
Our Safe Meeting Rooms are those that have been rearranged to accommodate social distancing and virtual meetings. In the case of two meeting rooms, shared classroom-style tables have been replaced with individual desks and spaced six feet apart. dd Throughout the workday and after each meeting, all high-touch areas are cleaned and sanitized.
As we continue to move forward cautiously through this year, Zoom (in noun and verb form) will continue to be a word that is commonly used. And as we get back to normal, OfficePlace will be ready to meet your needs.
The Great Room
You can enjoy a stress-free, virtual meeting in our Great Room with no restrictive time limits using our OfficePlace Zoom account. You are also welcome to use your Zoom account. Extra-large monitors make the screen easy to view for all participants. A high-quality camera, speakers, and microphone provide a professional set up for your virtual meeting. This high-tech equipment has been video and audio tested and ready to go. Now you can meet safely by combining small live groups with unlimited virtual participants. Shared classroom tables have been replaced by individual desks set 6 feet apart. The Great Room can accommodate approximately 15-20 participants. This is our “go-to” room for training seminars.
The Conference Rooms
Our Center Conference Room has also been rearranged by swapping out the conference table for individual desks with seating for 7-10 placed 6 feet apart. High-tech equipment compliments this meeting room as well.
The Boardroom
Our Boardroom with the extra-long boardroom table has been pulled apart and chairs have been reduced to 8 to accommodate social distancing. This room also has a large monitor, HDMI cable and conferencing phone with wall-sized whiteboards. Other conference and meeting rooms are set up with full capacity. Those rooms are the small Meeting Room for 4 people, The Conference Room for 8-10 and recently we expanded our meeting rooms by 2. New construction boasts The Meeting Room East for 6 and The Boardroom East for 10 – both in the process of getting their finishing touches.
Conference Room Amenities
All rooms are available on an hourly, half-day or full-day basis. Catering or delivery of food is permitted in all rooms. Use of the on-site kitchen and coffee bar is also permitted. Conferencing phones in most rooms and all rooms feature whiteboards & wi-fi. Projector, easel and flip charts are also available upon request.
