Here at OfficePlace, we have many amenities that are included in the price you pay for an office or meeting space within our business community, that are often considered “extra” when shopping for office space.

One of the best things about OfficePlace is its location. Right in the heart of Connecticut – in appropriately named Middletown – are two Class A office buildings. Most folks when thinking of Middletown, think of the downtown area. While Middletown boasts a vibrant, downtown district, for some it can be challenging getting to and from your destination during rush hour – and then there’s the cost to park! OfficePlace has the advantage of easy access. Being on the Cromwell side of town just a half-mile from Exit 21 off I-91, we have plenty of free on-site parking.
A Wide Selection of Office Spaces, Meeting Rooms and Conference Rooms
Once inside our buildings, there are a variety of offices to lease and meeting rooms to rent. This variety means there’s an office for you whether it’s a single office for one to set up a laptop and go to work; an office for two or three staff members to share or a space big enough for your entire team.
Let’s detail what is included in the cost of leasing an office: For those renting a meeting or conference room, aside from free parking, you will receive signage for your meeting guests to find their way. You can use our high-tech equipment with extra-large monitors for virtual meetings and presentations, HDMI cable to connect to your laptop and conferencing phones at no additional cost. While meeting rooms include Wi-Fi and extra surface area for catering, all have whiteboards as well. Also available at no extra cost would be the use of flip-charts, an easel, a projector, and the kitchen café.
A Virtual Office at OfficePlace
Clients who have purchased a Virtual Office are those venturing into a new business or those who have an established home-based business. An OfficePlace Virtual Office provides you with a professional, Connecticut business address, Google mapping, Class A company image, and a way to manage your mail and meet with clients.
With this program, clients receive a mailbox in our Mail Lobby with unlocked door access during regular business hours. Clients also enjoy a discount for renting meeting or office space as needed. Safe, secure, drive-up access to our well-lit Mail Lobby after hours includes a passcode to enter. Also included is a notification of packages received and secure package hold.
Premium Amenities
So, by now you’re probably wondering what you would pay extra for. OfficePlace amenities available at an extra charge include…. For an Office: customizing space, use of one of our desk phones in your permanent office – renting a meeting room – use of the network printer/copier per page nominal charge. For a Meeting Room: catering and additional meeting room for break-out purposes. For a Virtual Office: the mailbox key has a refundable deposit, the option to have your mail forwarded and use of a meeting or office space. And for all scenarios: Administrative assistance for printing or catering.
